Arlene G. Hershey

Arlene G. Hershey, age 94, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at Landis Homes.  She was born in Paradise, daughter of the late Amos G. & Edna Groff Hershey.  She was a member of Grace Point Church, Paradise.  In the past she worked at the former Hershey Garment Factory and the New Holland Re-Uzit.  She enjoyed sewing and jigsaw puzzles.  Surviving is a sister Thelma E. Hershey of Lititz and nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by 4 sisters:  Dorothy R. Felpel, Pauline M. Hershey, Evelyn G. Hershey, and Gladys H. Burkholder.

A graveside service will take place at the Paradise Mennonite Cemetery, on Wednesday, January 3 at 11 a.m., with Pastor Tim Rogers officiating.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Arlene's memory to Grace Point Church, 10 S. Singer Avenue, Paradise, PA 17562 or Hospice and Community Care, PO Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
