Arlene C. Douts

Arlene C. "Leeny" Douts, 99 1/2, of Martic Heights Drive, Holtwood, PA, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019.She was the widow of Curtis W. Douts who passed away March 7, 1999.Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Elvin and Etta Hart Erb. A homemaker, "Leeny" was a long time member of Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church.She loved to sew and quilt, enjoyed gardening, and was a bird enthusiast, especially about her favorite birds, the Baltimore Orioles.
Surviving her is a daughter, Dawn D. (Peter) Malleo of Holtwood; 2 grandchildren, Kristin (Jesse) Holloway of Holtwood, Megan (Ray) Newlin of Akron; 3 great grandchildren, Ryder, Max, Ronan; and a sister, Janet Kametz.
She was preceded in death by 4 siblings, B. Carl Erb, Evelyn Smith, Gladys Holbein and Helen Sellers.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the 2nd floor at Conestoga View for the excellent care extended to "Leeny".
Funeral services will be held at Mt. Nebo United Methodist Church, 673 Martic Heights Drive, Pequea, PA on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 11:00AM with Rev. Chandler Evans officiating.Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.A viewing will be held at the church from 10:00AM until the time of service.Please omit flowers.Contributions may be made in her memory to Mt.
