Anna M. Glick, age 86, formerly of Ronks, passed away at Fairmount Homes on Sunday, November 17, 2024. She was the wife of the late Samuel B. Glick who passed away on April 14, 2012. She was born in Ronks, daughter of the late Christian F. & Lydia Lantz King. She was a member of Mine Road Amish Mennonite Church. In the past she had worked in the kitchen at the Family Cupboard and Dienner's Country Restaurants and earlier she had worked in housekeeping at the Soudersburg Motel. Anna enjoyed cooking, traveling, Florida vacations, serving others, and most of all she loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by 7 children: Amos J. husband of Tammie Luzier Glick of New Providence, Elsie M. wife of Timothy Martin of New Holland, Paul J. husband of Mary Jane Fisher Glick of Farmville, VA, Mahlon L. husband of Naomi Petersheim Glick of Narvon, Sarah E. wife of Terry Weaver of Clearwater, FL, Allen R. Glick of Lancaster, Samuel M. Glick of Lake St. Louis, MO, 28 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 4 siblings: Jonathan King of Ronks, her twin Amos husband of Phyllis King of Manheim, Mary Fisher of Lancaster, Esther Courtney of New Holland. She was preceded in death by a son: John M. Glick, great grandson Andrew Glick, 4 siblings: Melvin, Reuben, Samuel King and Fannie Beiler.
A celebration of life service will take place at Mine Road Amish Mennonite Church, 5101 Mine Road, Paradise, PA, on Saturday, November 23rd at 11 a.m. There will be a viewing at the church on Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be no viewing on Saturday, a private graveside service will take place in the church cemetery prior to the service on Saturday. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Mine Road Amish Mennonite Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 602, Gap, PA 17527.
