Alta E. Shuler

Alta E. Shuler, 98, formerly of Quarryville, died Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Conestoga View.She was the wife of the late Jack R. Shuler who died in 1953.Born in Colerain Township, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Gertrude Armer Myers.
Alta was a member of Intercourse United Methodist Church.She enjoyed playing bingo and going to household auctions.
Alta retired from Patti Tone in Gap where she was employed in the garment shipping department.
Surviving her is a daughter, Jane Lefever of Lancaster; 5 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and 4 step great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Barry Shuler who died in 2008and her son-in-law Jacob Lefever.
Traditional graveside services will be held at the convenience of the Family.
