Alice L. Souders

Alice L. Souders, age 90, of Drumore, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021 at home. She was the wife of the late Earl Souders who died in 1989. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Pauline Dempsey Schulze. Alice was a member of Towerville Christian Church. She enjoyed traveling and antique shopping. Surviving are 2 sons: Frederick, husband of the late Ruthann Prange Souders, John husband of the late Angeline Burgos Souders, both of Drumore, 4 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her brother Eugene Schulze.

Funeral service will take place on Friday, August 6 at 11 a.m. at the Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street, Christiana, with a viewing from 10 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Daniel Wagner will be officiating. A graveside service will follow at 1:30 p.m. on Friday at Glenwood Memorial Park, 2321 West Chester Pike, Broomall.
