Alice V. Reich, age 87 of New Providence, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.  She was the wife of the late John L. Reich who passed away in 2007.  Born in Juniata County, she was the daughter of the late Joseph H. and Mary Miller Nickel.  Alice loved cooking, spending time outdoors at cookouts and being with people.  Surviving her is a sister-in-law; Pamela Reich of Holtwood, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by 12 siblings, Bill, Charles, John, James, Clyde, Earl and Harry Nickel, John Watts, Emma Swartz, Alta Graybill, Mildred Lefever and Ruth Redford.

A casual viewing and visitation time will be held at Reynolds & Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State Street, Quarryville, on Tuesday evening, February 24th from 6 to 7 p.m.  Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
