Alice B. Christman

Alice B. Christman, age 91, formerly of Pomeroy and Parkesburg, passed away at Newport Meadows of Christiana on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.  She was the wife of the late Armestic E. Christman who passed away on June 3, 1987.  She was born in Cochranville, daughter of the late Edward & Anna Reifsnyder Butler.  In the past she worked in the laundry department at the Embreeville State Hospital.  She enjoyed doing puzzles and fishing.  She is survived by 4 children:  Betty wife of Robert B. Donnell of Honey Brook, Anna wife of Alfred Laurento of Thorndale, Debbie Christman of Coatesville, Armestic Christman, Jr. of Kinzers, 5 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, sister Laura "Snookie" wife of Paul Thompson of Waynesboro, PA.  She was preceded in death by 4 siblings:  George "James" & Edward "Pete" Butler and Shirley "Mickey" Fellenbaum and Grace Lorraine Butler.

A memorial service will take place at the Shivery Funeral Home, 111 Elizabeth Street, Christiana, PA on Wednesday, August 11th at 11 a.m. with a time to greet the family from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Inurnment will take place in the Atglen Methodist Cemetery.
