Albert J. Henry

Albert J. Henry, 72, of Snyder Hollow Road, New Providence, PA died Friday, July 12, 2019 at VNA Hospice of Philadelphia. He and his wife Carmen Sue Yarnell Henry celebrated 45 years of marriage until her passing on July 29, 2016.Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Raymond and Viola W. Porter Henry.
Albert served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Sergeant.
He had many interests, including being a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penn State and NASCAR. He enjoyed reading and hunting. An avid conservationist, he planted 100's of trees, and enjoyed being outdoors, watching birds and wildlife.
He and his wife both were big supporters of the Solanco Food Bank.
Surviving are two daughters, Danielle Henry wife of Damon Casantini of Reading, Angela Henry of Lancaster; a sister Clarissa Mildenberg of Holtwood; a brother Raymond Henry of TN; a twin brother Robert Henry of Dennison, TX; a nephew Paul Henry of Emerson, ID; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Reynolds Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., 144 East State Street, Quarryville, PA on Friday, July 19, 2019 at 7:00PM with a visitation from 6:00PM until the time of service.
