Alba Buck, age 90, of Ronks, PA passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at the Mount Joy Hospice and Community Care.  She was the wife of Stanley L. Buck Jr. for 59 years before his passing on April 6, 2015.  She was born in the Bronx, NY, daughter of the late Emanuel and Leonora Isernio Licciardo.  She was a member of Leacock Presbyterian Church.  She graduated from Walton High School, Bronx, NY, in 1952.  She worked at Morgan Guaranty Trust Company in Manhattan, New York City in the stock department.  She and her husband were owners of the Broadway Laundromat, Lynbrook, NY, and the Paradise Motor Lodge until 2003 in Paradise, PA. In her free time, Alba loved doing crafts, making jewelry, cooking, collecting recipes, and most of all spending time with her three grandchildren.  Surviving are 3 children:  Stanley L Buck III of Ronks, Alba M., wife of H. Michael Ruhl of Lancaster, Richard A Buck of New Providence, 3 grandchildren, Harrison Ruhl, Valerie Loch, and Tiffany Buck, 2 great grandchildren, Delaney Loch, Henry Ruhl, and a sister, Leanora Minai of VA.  She was preceded in death by 3 siblings, Lucy Rodriguez, Phillie Hirt, and Lillian Dickinson.

A funeral service will take place at Leacock Presbyterian Church, 3181 Lincoln Highway East, Paradise, PA on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 11 a.m. with a viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of service.  Reverend James Shuler will be officiating.  Interment will be at Saint John's Methodist Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made, in Alba's memory, to Hospice and Community Care, P.O.
