A. Phillip Lawrence

A. Philip Lawrence, age 78 of Gap, PA, passed away at the Abbeyville Nursing & Rehab Center of Lancaster on Friday, June 5, 2026. He was born in Coatesville, son of the late Andrew P. & Dorothy Glenn Lawrence. He was a member of Bellevue Presbyterian Church of Gap. He was a life member of the Gap Fire Company. He enjoyed attending Fire Company dinners and events. He also liked to collect trucks. Surviving is a sister Maurine A. wife of Douglas L. Smith of Lancaster. 

Funeral service will take place at Bellevue Presbyterian Church, 810 Newport Avenue, Gap, PA, on Wednesday, June 10 at 11 a.m. with a viewing time from 10 a.m. until time of service. Pastor Jonathan Damon will be officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Gap Fire Company, P.O. Box 487, Gap, PA 17527.
