Lillie Mae Stout

Lillie Mae Stout, 88, of Oxford passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024. She was the spouse of Leonard Twyman for 50 years. Born in Roan Mountain, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Boonie and Bessie Ward Potter. Lillie loved reading mystery, spiritual and cook books. Lillie was very crafty. She made her own dolls, made angels out of tea towels and created a variety of other crafts. She also enjoyed watching soap operas such as, Young and Restless, Bold and Beautiful and Guiding Light.

Surviving, along with her spouse, are 3 children: Clifford, husband of Sharon Stout of Quarryville, Deborah Appel of Quarryville and Jeff, husband of Lisa Stout of West Grove. She also had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Lillie is preceded in death by 3 children, Carl W. Stout, Clyde J. Stout, Cathy Yohey and 9 siblings.

Funeral services will be held at Reynolds and Shivery Funeral Home, 144 East State St. Quarryville PA, 17566 on Friday, October 11th. The viewing will take place at 10am followed by a service at 11am. Pastor Robert Vannoy will be officiating. Interment will be in Oxford Cemetery.
