Amos K. Lantz, age 87 of Kinzers, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Hickory House of Honey Brook. He was the husband of Amanda Petersheim Lantz with whom he celebrated 68 years of marriage. He was born in Lancaster, son of the late Amos S. & Anna Kauffman Lantz. He was a member of the Mine Road Amish Mennonite Church. He was a farmer most of his life. After the sale of his farm, he owned Buck Hill Crafts in the Downingtown Farmers Market and had also worked at Peaceful Valley of Intercourse. He was known for his dry sense of humor and sacrificial love for his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed animals and raising sheep and goats. Surviving besides his wife are 6 children: Sally A. wife of Timothy Englerth of Paradise, Anna Mary wife of the late Warren Beiler of Narvon, Paul husband of Shirley Engel Lantz of Lancaster, Wilma wife of Mel Beiler of Gap, Amos Lantz, Jr. of Michigan, Lauren Lantz at home, 18 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, sister Amanda wife of Isaac Fisher of East Earl. He was preceded in death by a son John Marvin Lantz, 7 siblings: Benjamin, Jonathan, Jacob, Reuben, Elmer, Katie Lantz, Anna Mary Stoltzfus. Funeral service will take place at Calvary Monument Bible Church, 1660 Mine Road, Paradise, PA on Monday, November 26th at 10 a.m. There will be a viewing at Calvary Monument Bible Church on Sunday evening from 5 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in the Mine Road Amish Mennonite Cemetery.
