Amos S. Petersheim, age 63, of Narvon, went HOME to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 14, 2019. He was the loving husband of Esther Lapp Petersheim with whom he celebrated 33 years of marriage on October 5th. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Amos and Lavina Stoltzfus Petersheim. He was a member of Pequea Amish Mennonite Church. Amos loved the Lord and faithfully served him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and working alongside his sons in the family’s construction business. Surviving besides his wife are 7 children: Maria J. wife of Benjamin Beiler of Los Angeles, CA, Timothy L. husband of Deanne Stauffer Petersheim of Belize City, Belize, Rachel A. wife of Lynford Slabaugh of Nappanee, IN, Andrew J. husband of Marjorie Stoltzfus Petersheim of Gap, Joanna G., Christina F., and Joel E. Petersheim, all at home, 11 grandchildren, and 2 siblings: Sadie R. wife of Rueben Allgyer of Parkesburg and Stephen M. husband of Mary Riehl Petersheim of Narvon. He was preceded in death by 2 siblings: Elmer W. late husband of Sara Ann Bawell Petersheim of New Holland and Lydia Petersheim.
Funeral service will take place at Pequea Amish Mennonite Church, 115 Blank Road, Narvon, PA on Wednesday, April 17th at 1:30 PM. There will be a viewing on Tuesday from 1:30-4 and again from 6-8 p.m. Interment will be in the Pequea Amish Mennonite Cemetery.
