Lois J. Petersheim, age 48, of Morgantown, passed away at her home on Friday, April 5, 2019. She was the wife of Andrew D. Petersheim with whom she celebrated 23 years of marriage on July 1st. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Nora Stauffer Brubaker of Narvon and the late Ray M. Brubaker. She was a member of Grace and Truth Fellowship Church of Morgantown where she led church and community Bible studies. Lois graduated from Garden Spot High School Class of ’88. She worked as a manager for SQS. In her free time, Lois loved cooking, writing poetry, going to the beach and the mountains, watching Steelers football, entertaining and spending time with friends and family. Surviving besides her husband and mother are 2 sons: Samuel Layne and Kyle Andrew Petersheim, both at home, and 4 siblings: Dale R. husband of Joanne Summy Brubaker of Denver, PA, Christine E. Brubaker of Ephrata, Carla J. wife of Philip J. Meissner of Greenville, SC, and Cheryl L. Troyer of Kutztown, PA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Anne M. Brubaker.
Funeral Service will take place at Conestoga Mennonite Church, 2779 Main St, Morgantown, PA 19543, on Saturday, April 13th at 10 a.m. Pastors Lance Eisele and Alvin Horning will be officiating. There will be a viewing and a time to casually greet the family on Friday at Grace and Truth Fellowship, 201 Walnut St, Morgantown, PA 19543, from 1-4 and again that evening from 5-8. Interment will be in the Pine Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Freedom and Restoration for Everyone Enslaved online at freefromht.org, or mailed to P.O.
